Enoch 1
God Judges Righteous and Wicked
Open in the reader →1The words of the blessing of Henok, with which he blessed the chosen and the righteous who will be present on the day of affliction, for the removal of all the wicked and godless.
And Enoch answered and said: "A righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw a holy vision in the heavens, which the angels showed me; and from them I heard everything, and I understood what I saw—but not for this generation, but for a distant one that is to come."
Concerning the Chosen Ones I said, and I uttered a parable concerning them: The Holy and Great One will go forth from his dwelling.
And the God of eternity, from there, will tread upon Mount Sinai; he will appear with his host, and he will appear in the strength of his might from heaven.
And all will fear, and the vigilant ones will tremble; and fear and great trembling will seize them as far as the ends of the earth.
And the lofty mountains will quake, and the high hills will be brought low; they will melt like wax before the blaze.
And the earth shall be rent asunder, and everything that is in the earth shall be destroyed, and judgment shall come upon all.
And he will make peace for the righteous, and he will guard the chosen ones; and favor will be upon them, and they will all be God's, and they will prosper and be blessed, and the light of God will shine upon them.
And behold, he comes with myriads of holy ones, to execute judgment upon them, and to destroy the wicked, and to rebuke all flesh for everything that the sinful and wicked have done and spoken against him.
