Enoch 48
Spring of Righteousness Surrounds
Open in the reader →1In that place I saw the spring of righteousness, which is inexhaustible, and around it were many springs of wisdom. And all the thirsty drank from them and were filled with wisdom, and their dwelling was with the righteous and the holy and the chosen.
And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence of the Lord of Spirits, and his name was before the Head of Days.
And before the sun and the signs were created, before the stars of heaven were made, his name was called before the Lord of Spirits.
He will be a staff for the righteous, so that they may lean on him and not fall; and he will be the light of the nations, and he will be hope for those who are troubled in heart.
And all who dwell upon the dry land shall fall down and bow before him, and they shall praise and bless and sing to the Lord of Spirits.
For this reason, he was chosen and hidden before him before the world was created, and forever.
And the wisdom of the Lord of Spirits has revealed him to the holy and to the righteous; for they have kept the portion of the righteous, because they hated and despised this world of unrighteousness, and they hated all its works and its ways in the name of the Lord of Spirits. For by his name they are saved, and by his good pleasure their life came to be.
In those days the faces of the kings of the earth and the mighty who possess the dry land shall be humbled, because of the works of their hands; for on the day of their distress and affliction, they will not save themselves.
And into the hands of my chosen ones I will deliver them, and like straw in the fire, so they will burn before the face of the holy ones; and like lead in water, they will sink before the face of the righteous, and no trace will be found for them.
And on the day of their affliction, rest shall come upon the earth.
