Enoch 67
Noah Hears Gods Promise
Open in the reader →1And in those days the word of the Lord came to me, and he said to me, “Noah, your portion has come up before me—a portion without blame, a portion of love and uprightness.”
And now the angels are making a wooden structure; and when the angels have finished that, I will place my hand upon it and guard it, and from it there will come the seed of life, and a transformation will occur, so that the dry ground may not remain barren.
And I will establish your offspring before me forever and ever, and I will make those who dwell with you fruitful. It shall not be barren upon the face of the dry ground, but it shall be blessed and multiplied on the dry ground in the name of the Lord.
And they bound those angels who had shown lawlessness in that burning valley which my grandfather Enoch had previously shown me in the west, by the mountains of gold and silver and iron and soft metal and lead.
And I saw that valley in which there was a great convulsion and a convulsion of waters.
And when all this happened, from that fiery stream and their convulsion in that place, a smell of sulfur was produced and joined with those waters; and that valley of the angels who led astray burns beneath that land.
And through its valleys come rivers of fire, where those angels shall be judged who led astray those who dwell upon the dry land.
And in those days those waters will be for the kings and the mighty and the exalted, and for those who dwell on the dry ground, for the healing of the body and for the punishment of the spirit; and their spirit will be full of pleasure, so that their bodies may be judged, because they have denied the Lord of Spirits, and they see their judgment every day, yet they do not believe in his name.
And as the burning of their bodies is very great, so a change comes upon them in spirit forever and ever, because before the Lord of Spirits there is none who speaks a vain word.
For judgment will come upon them, because they trust in the indulgence of their flesh and deny the Spirit of the Lord.
And the waters themselves will be changed in those days, for when those angels are judged in those waters, these springs of water will change, and when the angels ascend, that water of the springs will change and grow cold.
And I heard Michael answering and saying, “This judgment by which the angels are judged is a testimony against the kings and the mighty, those who possess the dry land.”
For these waters of judgment are for the healing of the flesh of the kings and for the lust of their flesh; and because of this they do not see and do not believe that those waters will change and become a fire that burns forever and ever.
