Daniel 12

1And at that time Michael, the great prince who stands over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as has not happened since there was a nation until that time. And at that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written in the book.

2And many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth will awake, these to everlasting life, and those to reproaches, to everlasting contempt.

3And those who have insight will shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who make the many righteous, like the stars forever and ever.

4But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.

5Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others were standing: one on this bank of the river, and one on that bank of the river.

6And he said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long until the end of these wonders?”

7Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he raised his right hand and his left hand to heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the shattering of the power of the holy people is finished, all these things will be completed.

8As for me, I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

9And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are concealed and sealed until the time of the end.”

10Many will purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

11And from the time that the regular offering is removed and the abomination that desolates is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

12Blessed is the one who waits and reaches the 1,335 days.

13But as for you, go to the end; and you will rest and stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.
