Ezekiel 45

1And when you divide the land as an inheritance, you shall set apart a contribution to Yahweh, a holy portion from the land: twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width. It shall be holy within all its surrounding boundary.

2From this there shall be for the holy place a square of five hundred by five hundred all around, with fifty cubits of open land for it all around.

3From this measured area you shall measure a length of twenty-five thousand and a width of ten thousand, and in it shall be the sanctuary, the most holy place.

4It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who draw near to minister to Yahweh. And it shall be for them as a place for houses and as a holy place for the sanctuary.

5And an area twenty-five thousand long and ten thousand wide shall be for the Levites, the ministers of the house, for their possession, with twenty chambers.

6And as the city's property, you shall give an area five thousand wide and twenty-five thousand long, alongside the holy contribution; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.

7And for the prince there shall be land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, adjoining the holy district and adjoining the property of the city, from the west side westward and from the east side eastward; and in length corresponding to one of the tribal portions, from the western border to the eastern border.

8This land shall belong to him as a possession in Israel. And my princes shall no longer oppress my people, but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

9Thus says the Lord GOD: Enough from you, princes of Israel! Remove violence and plunder, and do justice and righteousness. Put away your evictions from my people, declares the Lord GOD.

10You must have honest scales, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.

11The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, so that the bath may hold a tenth of a homer, and the ephah a tenth of a homer; their standard shall be according to the homer.

12And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall be your mina.

13This is the contribution that you shall offer: one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat, and one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.

14And the fixed due of oil shall be one bath of oil from each cor, from ten baths, that is, one homer, for ten baths are one homer.

15and one sheep from every two hundred from the well-watered pastures of Israel, for a grain offering and for a burnt offering and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them, declares the Lord GOD.

16All the people of the land shall give this contribution to the prince in Israel.

17And the burnt offerings, the grain offering, and the drink offering at the feasts, at the new moons, and at the Sabbaths—at all the appointed times of the house of Israel—shall be the prince’s responsibility. He shall provide the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.

18Thus says the Lord GOD: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and you shall purify the sanctuary.

19And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the altar ledge, and on the doorposts of the gate of the inner court.

20And so you shall do on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins unintentionally or through simplicity; thus you shall make atonement for the temple.

21In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

22On that day the prince shall provide, for himself and for all the people of the land, a bull as a sin offering.

23During the seven days of the feast he shall provide as a burnt offering to Yahweh seven bulls and seven rams without blemish each day for the seven days, and as a sin offering one male goat each day.

24And as the grain offering, he shall provide an ephah for each bull and an ephah for each ram, and a hin of oil for each ephah.

25In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast, he shall provide the same offerings for seven days: the sin offering, the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the oil.
