Letter of Peter to Philip 2

1Peter then assembled the others. They went to the mountain called Olivet, where formerly they would assemble together with the blessed Christ when he dwelt in the body.

2When the apostles were met together, and had fallen to their knees, they prayed as follows, and spoke:

3“Father, Father, Father of the light,

4you to whom belong the indestructible ones,

5listen to us,

6just as [you] have been delighted in your holy Son, Jesus Christ,

7because for our sake he has become a light [] in the darkness.

8Verily, listen to us.”

9And once more they prayed, and spoke:

10“Son of life, Son of deathlessness,

11you who dwell in the light,

12Son, Christ of deathlessness,

13our redeemer,

14grant us strength,

15because they are hunting for us to murder us.”
