Psalms of Solomon 11

Gather Israel from Far Lands

Open in the reader →

1Sound the trumpet in Zion with the trumpet of the holy signal,

2Proclaim in Jerusalem the voice of one bringing good news: for God has shown mercy to Israel in their visitation.

3Stand, O Jerusalem, on high, and see your children gathered from east and west by the Lord.

4They come from the north in the joy of their God; from distant islands God has gathered them.

5He brought the high mountains low into level ground for them.

6The hills fled from their approach; the forests gave them shade along their way.

7God made every fragrant tree spring up for them, so that Israel might pass through in the visitation of the glory of their God.

8Put on, Jerusalem, the garments of your glory; make ready your sacred robe, for God has spoken good things to Israel forever and ever.

9May the Lord do what he has spoken concerning Israel and Jerusalem; may the Lord raise up Israel in the name of his glory. The Lord’s mercy be upon Israel forever and ever.
