Psalms of Solomon 13

1The right hand of the Lord sheltered me; the right hand of the Lord spared us.

2The arm of the Lord saved us from the sword passing through, from famine and the death of sinners.

4The ungodly was troubled because of his transgressions, lest he be taken away with sinners.

5For the destruction of the sinner is dreadful, and none of all these things will touch the righteous.

6For the discipline of the righteous in ignorance is not like the destruction of the sinner;

7A righteous man is disciplined in secret, so that the sinner may not gloat over the righteous man.

8For he will admonish a righteous man as a beloved son, and his discipline is like that of a firstborn.

9For the Lord will spare his faithful ones, and he will wipe away their trespasses by discipline; for the life of the righteous is forever.

10But sinners will be taken away to destruction, and no remembrance of them will be found any longer.

11But upon the godly is the mercy of the Lord, and upon those who fear him is his mercy.
