Lord Protects from Enemies Grip
Open in the reader →1Do not depart from us, O God, lest those who hate us without cause attack us.
2For you have rejected them, O God; let not their foot trample the inheritance of your sanctuary.
3Discipline us according to your will, and do not give us over to the nations.
4For if you send death, you will command it concerning us; for you are merciful, and you will not be angry so as to bring us to an end.
5When your name dwells in our midst, we will be shown mercy,
6and no nation will prevail against us, because you are our defender.
7And we will call upon you, and you will hear us.
8For you will have compassion on the people of Israel forever, and you will not cast them off; and we will be under your yoke forever, and under the whip of your discipline.
9You will guide us at the time of your help, to show mercy to the house of Jacob for the day that you promised them.
