Psalms 98

Sing New Song Celebrate

Open in the reader →

A psalm.

1Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm have won victory for him.

2Yahweh has made his salvation known; in the sight of the nations he has revealed his righteousness.

3He has remembered his steadfast love and his faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4Shout joyfully to Yahweh, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy and make music.

5Sing praises to Yahweh with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of song.

6With trumpets and the sound of the horn, raise a shout before the King, Yahweh.

7Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world, and those who dwell in it.

8Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,

9before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth; he will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity.
