Testament of Judah 4
Jacob Sees Angel Guarding Judah
Open in the reader →1And after this there came to us a war toward the south, greater than the one at Shechem; and having drawn up in battle with my brothers, we pursued a thousand men and killed two hundred of them, and four kings.
2And I went up upon the double wall and killed their king.
3And so we set Hebron free and took all the captives.
4But the rest fled.
5Then my father Jacob killed Belisath, king of all, father of kings, a giant man in strength, twelve cubits tall.
6And terror fell upon them, and they stopped making war against us.
7Therefore my father was free from anxiety in the wars while I was with my brothers.
8For he saw in a vision concerning me that an angel of power accompanied me in all things, so that I might not be touched.
