Titus 2

1But as for you, speak the things that are fitting for sound teaching.

2Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness.

3Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is good,

4so that they may train the younger women to be loving toward their husbands and loving toward their children,

5self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be slandered.

6Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.

7in every way presenting yourself as an example of good works; in your teaching, purity, dignity,

8sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that the one who opposes us may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

9Servants are to submit to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative,

10not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior.

11For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.

12training us, so that, having renounced ungodliness and worldly desires, we might live self-controlled, righteous, and godly lives in the present age,

13as we await the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus the Messiah,

14who gave himself for us, so that he might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

15Speak these things, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
