1 Chronicles 8

1Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third.

2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

3Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, and Abihud.

4and Abishua, Naaman, and Ahoah.

5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

6These were the sons of Ehud. These were the heads of fathers’ houses for the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them into exile to Manahath:

7and Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera—he carried them into exile and fathered Uzza and Ahihud.

8And Shaharaim fathered children in the country of Moab after he sent away Hushim and Baara, his wives.

9And he fathered Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, and Malcam by Hodesh his wife.

10and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ houses.

11And by Hushim he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.

12The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, and Shemed; he built Ono and Lod and its villages.

13And Beriah and Shema—they were heads of fathers’ houses among the inhabitants of Aijalon; they were the ones who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.

14And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth.

15and Zebadiah, Arad, and Eder.

16and Michael, Ishpah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah.

17and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber.

18Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

19and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi.

20and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel.

21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimei.

22Ishpan, Eber, and Eliel.

23and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan.

24Hananiah, Elam, and Anthothijah.

25Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

26and Shamshrai, and Sheharyah, and Athaliah.

27Jareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

28These were heads of fathers’ houses according to their generations, chief men. These lived in Jerusalem.

29In Gibeon lived the father of Gibeon, and his wife’s name was Maacah.

30His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, and Nadab.

31and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

32Mikloth fathered Shimeah. They too lived opposite their brothers in Jerusalem, with their brothers.

33Ner fathered Kish, and Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

34And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal fathered Micah.

35And the sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

36Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri fathered Moza.

37And Moza fathered Binea; Rephah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

38Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam his firstborn, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

39The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, drawers of the bow, and had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty. All these were from the sons of Benjamin.
