Enter Gate of Righteousness Pure
Open in the reader →1Let us therefore put this away quickly, and let us fall down before the Master and weep, imploring him that, having become gracious, he may be reconciled to us and restore us to the solemn and pure conduct of our brotherly love.
2For this is the gate of righteousness, opened unto life itself, just as it is written: “Open to me the gates of righteousness; entering through them, I will give thanks to the Lord.”
3“This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous will enter through it.”
4Therefore, though many gates stand open, this gate in righteousness is the one in Christ, in which all who have entered and are directing their course in holiness and righteousness, accomplishing all things without disturbance, are blessed.
5Let one be faithful; let one be able to expound knowledge; let one be wise in discerning words; let one be pure in works.
6For he ought to be all the more humble, the greater he seems to be, and to seek what is beneficial to all, and not what is his own.
