Enoch 101
Fear God Cease Doing Evil
Open in the reader →1Observe heaven, you sons of heaven, and every work of the Most High; and fear him, and do not do evil before him.
If he shuts the windows of heaven, and withholds the rain and the dew so that it does not come down upon the earth because of you, what will you do?
And if he sends his wrath upon you for all your deeds, will you not entreat him? For you speak great and harsh words against his righteousness, and you have no peace.
Have you not seen the captains of the ships, how they are tossed by the waves, and their ships are shaken by the winds, and they are distressed?
And because of this they fear, for all their good possessions go out into the sea with them, and they do not think good in their hearts, for the sea will swallow them and they will sink in it.
Is not the whole sea, and all its waters, and all its movements, the work of the Most High? And he has measured all its works and bound its shores with sand.
And at his rebuke it will be afraid and dry up, and all its fish will die, and everything that is in it. But you sinners who are upon the earth do not fear him.
Was it not he who made heaven and earth and everything that is in them? Who gave instruction and wisdom to all who move upon the earth and to those at sea?
Do not those kings of the sea fear the sea, while sinners do not fear the Most High?
