1 Enoch 45

1This is another parable concerning those who deny the name of the dwelling of the holy ones and of the Lord of Spirits.

2They will not ascend to heaven or reach the earth. This will be the lot of sinners who denied the name of the Lord of Spirits, who are thus kept for the day of affliction and distress.

3On that day my Chosen One will sit on the throne of glory and choose their works. Their resting places will be numberless, and their souls will grow strong within them when they see my chosen ones and those who have called upon my glorious name.

4On that day I will settle my Chosen One among them, and I will transform heaven and make it a blessing and a light forever.

5I will transform the dry land and make it blessed. I will settle my chosen ones in it, but those who commit sin and transgression will not walk in it.

6For I have seen, and I have satisfied my righteous ones with peace and settled them before me. The judgment of sinners has drawn near to me, so that I may destroy them from the face of the earth.
