Enoch 5
Creation Faithful to God’s Rule
Open in the reader →1Observe how the trees are covered with green leaves and bear fruit, and understand concerning everything that the Ever-Living One has made all these things.
And his works are before him for every year that shall be, and all his works are subject to him and do not change; but as God has ordained, so everything is done.
Look at how the seas and the rivers together accomplish their work.
But you have not endured, and you have not done the command of the Lord; rather, you have transgressed and spoken proud and harsh words with your unclean mouths against his greatness. Because of the hardness of your heart, you will have no peace.
And because of this, you will curse your days, and you will shorten the years of your life; and the years of your destruction will increase in an eternal curse, and there will be no mercy for you.
In those days you will give your names to an everlasting curse for all the righteous, and the sinners will curse you; and for you there will be a joining together with sinners.
And for the chosen there shall be light and joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth. But for you, the wicked, there shall be a curse.
And then wisdom will be given to the chosen, and all these will live and will not again sin, whether through ungodliness or through pride; but those who possess wisdom will be humble.
And they shall not again sin, and they shall not be condemned all the days of their life.
