Watchers Descend for Human Women

And it came to pass, when the children of men had multiplied in those days, daughters were born to them, beautiful and comely.

And the angels, the sons of heaven, saw them and desired them. And they said among themselves, “Come, let us choose for ourselves wives from the children of men, and let us beget children for ourselves.”

And Semyaza, who was their leader, said to them, “I fear that you may not be willing to do this deed, and I alone will become liable for a great sin.”

And they all answered him and said, "Let us all swear an oath, and let us all bind one another with a curse, so that we do not turn back from this plan, but carry out this deed."

Then they all swore together and bound one another with a curse concerning it.

And all of them were two hundred, and they came down onto Ardis, which is the summit of Mount Hermon.
