Enoch 54

Kings Thrown into Burning Valley

Open in the reader →

And I looked and turned to another part of the earth, and I saw there a deep valley with burning fire.

And they shall bring the kings and the mighty, and cast them into that deep valley.

And there my eyes saw their instruments, as they were making iron chains without measure.

And I asked the angel of peace who went with me, saying, “These chains of the instruments—for whom are they being prepared?”

And he said to me, “These are being prepared for the host of Azazʾel, so that they may take them and cast them into the lowest part of the place of judgment; and they will cover their jaws with rough stones, just as the Lord of Spirits commanded.”

And Michael and Gabriel and Raphael and Phanuel—they will seize them on that great day and cast them into the burning furnace on that day, so that the Lord of Spirits may take vengeance on them for their lawlessness, because they became servants of Satan and led astray those who dwell upon the dry land.

And in those days the punishment from the Lord of Spirits will come, and all the storehouses of the waters that are above the heavens [and the fountains that are beneath the heavens] and those beneath the earth will be opened.

And they will be joined together.
