Ancient Swears Never Again
Open in the reader →1And after this the Head of Days relented and said, “In vain I have destroyed all those who dwell on the dry land.”
2And he swore by his great name that from this time onward he would not do thus to all who dwell upon the dry land; and I will set a sign in the heavens, and it will be a pledge of faithfulness between me and them forever, for as long as the days of heaven are upon the earth; and this is by my command.
3When I desired to deliver them into the hand of the angels on the day of tribulation and pain, I will cause my punishment and my wrath to abide upon them, says God, the Lord of spirits.
