Punitive Angels Bind Azazel’s Host

Open in the reader →

And there I saw the angels of punishment going about, and they were holding scourges and chains of iron and bronze.

And I asked the angel of peace who went with me, saying, “To whom are they going, these who hold the scourges?”

And he said to me, 'To their chosen ones and to their beloved ones, so that they may be cast into the chasm of the abyss of the valley.'

And in those days that valley will be filled with the chosen and with their beloved ones, and the days of their lives will be ended, and the days of their wandering will no longer be counted from then on.

And in those days the angels will return and turn their heads toward the east, toward the people of Parthia and Media. They will stir up the kings, and a spirit of turmoil will come upon them; it will unsettle them from their thrones, and they will go out like lions from their lairs, and like hungry wolves in the midst of their pasture.

And they shall go up and tread upon the land of his chosen ones, and the land of his chosen ones shall become before them a trampled place and a beaten path.

And the city of my righteous ones shall be a hindrance to their horses; and they will stir up slaughter among themselves, and their right hand will be strong against them. And a man will not know his brother, nor a son his father or his mother, until the number of the corpses from their death is complete, and their punishment will not be in vain.

And in those days Sheol will open its mouth, and they will sink down into it; and destruction will pursue them; Sheol will swallow up the sinners from before the face of the chosen ones.
