Ezekiel 41

1Then he brought me into the nave and measured the jambs: six cubits wide on one side and six cubits wide on the other side—the width of the tent.

2And the width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the sidewalls of the entrance were five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side. Then he measured its length: forty cubits, and the width: twenty cubits.

3Then he went inside and measured the jambs of the entrance: two cubits; the entrance: six cubits; and the width of the entrance: seven cubits.

4Then he measured its length: twenty cubits, and the width: twenty cubits, before the nave; and he said to me, “This is the Most Holy Place.”

5Then he measured the wall of the house: six cubits; and the width of the side chambers was four cubits all around the house on every side.

6And the side chambers were side chamber upon side chamber, three and thirty times; and they entered into the wall that belonged to the house for the side chambers all around, so that they might be supported, but they were not supported by the wall of the house.

7And the side chambers became wider as they went around upward and upward, because the structure of the temple went around upward and upward all around the temple. Therefore the width of the temple increased upward, and so one went up from the lowest story to the highest by way of the middle story.

8And I saw that the house had a raised platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six cubits to the offset.

9The width of the wall that belonged to the side chambers on the outside was five cubits, and the open area between the side chambers of the house.

10And between the chambers was a width of twenty cubits all around the temple, all around.

11And the doorway of the side chamber was toward the free space, one doorway toward the north and one doorway toward the south; and the width of the free space was five cubits all around.

12And the building that faced the separate area on the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide, and the wall of the building was five cubits wide all around, and its length was ninety cubits.

13Then he measured the temple: its length was a hundred cubits; and the separate area, the building, and its walls had a length of a hundred cubits.

14And the width of the front of the temple and of the separate area toward the east was a hundred cubits.

15Then he measured the length of the building facing the separate area that was behind it, with its galleries on this side and on that side: one hundred cubits; and the inner nave and the porches of the court.

16the thresholds, the recessed windows, and the galleries all around on their three sides, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, from the floor up to the windows; and the windows were covered.

17Above the doorway, and as far as the inner house, and outside, and on all the wall all around, in the inner part and in the outer part, were measurements.

18Cherubim and palm trees were made on it, with a palm tree between cherub and cherub; and each cherub had two faces.

19with a human face toward the palm tree on one side, and a young lion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side. They were made all around the whole temple.

20From the floor to above the entrance, cherubim and palm trees were made, and on the wall of the nave.

21The nave had a square doorframe, and the front of the sanctuary had the same appearance.

22The altar was of wood, three cubits high and two cubits long; its corners, its length, and its sides were of wood. And he said to me, “This is the table that is before Yahweh.”

23And the nave and the sanctuary each had two doors.

24And the doors had two leaves each, two turning leaves: two leaves for the one door and two leaves for the other.

25And cherubim and palm trees were made on them, on the doors of the nave, just as they were made on the walls; and there was a wooden canopy before the front of the vestibule outside.

26And there were shuttered windows and palm trees on this side and on that, along the sidewalls of the vestibule, and on the side chambers of the temple, and the canopies.
