Hosea 3

1And Yahweh said to me again, “Go, love a woman loved by another and committing adultery, just as Yahweh loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”

2So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.

3And I said to her, “You must remain for me many days; you must not prostitute yourself, and you must not belong to a man; and I also will be toward you.”

4For many days the sons of Israel will dwell without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, and without ephod or household idols.

5Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek Yahweh their God and David their king, and they will come in fear to Yahweh and to his goodness in the latter days.
