Leviticus 6

1And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: the burnt offering itself shall remain on its hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.

3And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put linen undergarments on his body, and he shall remove the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall place them beside the altar.

4Then he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

5And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it and burn up on it the fat portions of the peace offerings.

6A continual fire shall be kept burning on the altar; it shall not go out.

7And this is the law of the grain offering: the sons of Aaron shall present it before Yahweh, in front of the altar.

8And he shall take up from it a handful of the fine flour of the grain offering and some of its oil, with all the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he shall burn its memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.

9What is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat. It shall be eaten unleavened in a holy place; they shall eat it in the court of the tent of meeting.

10It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion from my food offerings. It is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.

11Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat of it. It is a permanent statute throughout your generations from the food offerings of Yahweh. Whatever touches them shall become holy.

12And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

13This is the offering of Aaron and his sons, which they shall present to Yahweh on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

14On a griddle with oil it shall be made, well mixed; you shall bring it in baked pieces, a grain offering broken into pieces, and present it as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.

15And the anointed priest from among his sons, who succeeds him, shall prepare it. It is a permanent statute for Yahweh: it shall be completely turned into smoke.

16And every grain offering of a priest shall be wholly burned; it shall not be eaten.

17And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

18Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, the sin offering shall be slaughtered before Yahweh. It is most holy.’

19The priest who makes atonement with it shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the tent of meeting.

20Anything that touches its flesh shall become holy, and if any of its blood is spattered on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was spattered in a holy place.

21And an earthenware vessel in which it is boiled must be broken; but if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, it must be scoured and rinsed with water.

22Every male among the priests may eat it; it is most holy.

23But any sin offering from whose blood some is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire.
