Psalmist Looks Up Trusting LORD

Open in the reader →

A Song of Ascents.

1To you I lift up my eyes, you who sit in the heavens.

2Look, as the eyes of servants are toward the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a female servant are toward the hand of her mistress, so our eyes are toward Yahweh our God until he shows us favor.

3Be gracious to us, Yahweh; be gracious to us, for we have had more than enough of contempt.

4Our soul has had more than enough of the mockery of those at ease, the contempt of the proud.
