Psalms 13
David Trusts in God’s Love
Open in the reader →For the choir director. A psalm of David.
1How long, O Yahweh, will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2How long must I make plans within myself, with sorrow in my heart all day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
3Look and answer me, O Yahweh my God; give light to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death.
4lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” and my adversaries rejoice because I am shaken.
5But as for me, I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart will rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
