Psalms 34

Taste See God Is Good

Open in the reader →

Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he left.

I will bless Yahweh at all times; his praise will continually be in my mouth.

In Yahweh my soul will boast; the humble will hear and rejoice.

Magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt his name together.

I sought Yahweh, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

They looked to him and were radiant, and their faces will never be put to shame.

This poor man cried out, and Yahweh heard and saved him from all his troubles.

The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him and rescues them.

Taste and see that Yahweh is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Fear Yahweh, his holy ones, for those who fear him lack nothing.

Young lions go hungry and suffer want, but those who seek Yahweh lack no good thing.

Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

Who is the man who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good?

Guard your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.

Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry for help.

The face of Yahweh is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

The righteous cry out, and Yahweh hears and delivers them from all their troubles.

Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted, and he saves those crushed in spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous man, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Evil will put the wicked to death, and those who hate the righteous will be held guilty.

Yahweh redeems the life of his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him will be held guilty.
