Names Set Before Glory
Open in the reader →1The glory of the Great One, and your names shall be written before the glory of the Great One.
Hope, for formerly you were put to shame by evil and by affliction; but now you will shine like the light of heaven, you will shine and be seen, and the portals of heaven will be opened for you.
And as for your cry, cry out, and he will make it appear to you; for all your affliction will be sought out from the angels and from all those who helped those who plundered you.
Hope, and do not abandon your hope, for great joy will be yours, like the angels of heaven.
What will you have to do? You will not have to hide on the day of the great judgment, and you will not be found as sinners; and everlasting judgment will be upon you for all the generations of the world.
And now, righteous ones, do not fear when you see sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways. Do not become their companions, but keep far from their violence; for you shall be companions of the good ones of heaven.
And because you sinners say, ‘We are not sought out, and all our sins are not written down’—all your sins are being written down every day.
And now, I show you that light and darkness, day and night, see all your sins.
Do not be wicked in your hearts, and do not lie, and do not alter the word of uprightness, and do not declare false the word of the Great Holy One, and do not account your idols as anything; for all your falsehood and all your uncleanness are not for righteousness, but for great sin.
And now I know this mystery: that many sinners will alter the word of righteousness and pervert it, and speak evil words and lie, and they will devise great fabrications, and they will write books concerning their own words.
And when they write all the words truthfully in their languages, and neither alter nor omit anything from my words, but write down everything truthfully—all the former things—
