1 Enoch 107

1I saw it written concerning them that one generation will grow worse than another until a generation of righteousness arises. Transgression will be destroyed, sin will be wiped away from the earth, and every good thing will come upon it.

2Now, my son, go and tell your son Lamech that this child who has been born is indeed his son; it is true, not false.

3When Methuselah heard the words of his father Enoch, who had secretly shown him all these works, he returned and made them known to him. He named that child Noah, because he would bring comfort to the earth from all its destruction.
