1 Enoch 16

1From the days of the slaughter, destruction, and death of the giants, the spirits that came forth from the souls of their flesh shall destroy without judgment; thus they shall destroy until the day of the completion of the great judgment, when the great age shall be brought to its end. All concerning the Watchers and the ungodly shall be completed.

2And now, as for the Watchers who sent you to petition on their behalf, who formerly were in heaven:

3[And now,] you were in heaven, but not yet had (all) the hidden things been revealed to you. You knew a despised mystery, and you made this known to women in the hardness of your hearts; through this mystery women and men multiplied evil upon the earth.

4Tell them, therefore, “You have no peace.”
