1 Enoch 17

1And they took me into a place where those who were there were like burning fire, and whenever they wished, they appeared like men.

2And they took me to a place of whirlwind, and to a mountain whose summit reached to heaven.

3And I saw the places of the lights and of the thunder, in the extremities, in the depth, where there was a bow of fire, and arrows and their quiver, and a sword of fire, and all the lightnings.

4And they took me as far as the living waters, and as far as the fire of the west, which receives every setting of the sun.

5And I came to a river of fire, whose fire flowed like water, and it emptied into the great sea toward the west.

6And I saw great rivers, and I reached as far as the great darkness, and I went to where no flesh walks.

7And I saw the mountains of the darkness of winter and the place where all the waters of the deep flow.
