1 Enoch 75

1And the leaders of the heads of thousands, who are over all creation and over all the stars, together with those four that are added and do not separate from their service, according to the reckoning of the year—and these render service on the four days that are not counted in the reckoning of the year.

2And because of them people go astray concerning them, for these lights render service at the stations of the world in righteousness: one in the first portal, and one in the third portal of heaven, and one in the fourth portal, and one in the sixth portal; and the careful ordering of the world is completed in three hundred and sixty-four stations of the world.

3For concerning the signs and the seasons and the years and the days, Uriel, the angel whom the Lord of glory appointed forever over all the luminaries of heaven in heaven and in the world, showed me how they rule over the face of heaven and are seen upon the earth, and become guides for day and for night—the sun and the moon and the stars and all the ministering powers that make their circuit in all the chariots of heaven.

4Likewise, Uriel showed me twelve openings in the circuit of the chariots of the sun in the sky, from which the rays of the sun go out, and from which warmth comes forth upon the earth when they are opened in the seasons appointed for them.

5and for the winds, and for the spirit of dew, when the openings are opened in heaven at the ends.

6When the twelve other portals in heaven, at the ends of the earth, are opened, from which the sun and the moon and the stars come out.
