1 Enoch 77

1And they call the first wind the eastern one, because it is the first; and they call the second the south, because the Most High descends there, and there especially the Blessed One descends forever.

2And the wind from the west is named Hegulā, because there all the lights of heaven fade and go down.

3And the fourth wind, whose name is the North, is divided into three parts: one part for a dwelling for humankind, and another is over the seas of water of water, and over the abysses, and over the forests, and over the rivers, and over darkness, and over mist; and the third part is in the garden of righteousness.

4I saw seven high mountains, which are higher than all the mountains that are on the earth; and from them frost comes forth, and days and seasons and years pass.

5And I saw seven rivers upon the earth, greater than all the rivers; and one of them comes from the west and pours its waters into the Great Sea.

6And the two of them come from the west as far as the sea, and they pour out their waters into the Erythraean Sea in the east.

7And the four remaining ones go out by the north side to their own sea—two of them to the Eritrean Sea, and two to the Great Sea.
