1 Enoch 79

1And now, my son, I have shown you everything, and the order of all the stars of heaven has been completed.

2And he showed me all their ordinances—those for every day and every season, and for every year, and for its going out and its command, in every month and every sabbath.

3And the moon wanes, which takes place through the sixth gate; for in this sixth gate its light is completed, and from it comes the beginning of the waning.

4And the waning that is done in the first gate in its season until one hundred and seventy-seven days are completed—by the reckoning of weeks, twenty-five and two days.
