2 Chronicles 4

1He made a bronze altar, twenty cubits its length and twenty cubits its width, and ten cubits its height.

2He made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all around; its height was five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits encircled it all around.

3And beneath it were figures of oxen all around, encircling it, ten to the cubit, surrounding the Sea all around. The oxen were in two rows, cast as one piece with it.

4It stood on twelve oxen: three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The Sea was above them, and all their rear parts were inward.

5Its thickness was a handbreadth, and its rim was like the work of the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It could hold three thousand baths.

6He made ten basins and set five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them; in them they would rinse the things used for the burnt offering. But the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7He made ten gold lampstands according to their prescribed design, and he placed them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left.

8He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the right and five on the left; he also made one hundred bowls of gold.

9And he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court; and he overlaid their doors with bronze.

10And he set the Sea at the southeast side, facing south.

11Huram made the pots, the shovels, and the bowls. So Huram finished the work that he did for King Solomon in the house of God:

12the two pillars, and the two bowls and the two capitals on top of the pillars, and the two latticeworks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on top of the pillars;

13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two latticeworks, two rows of pomegranates for each latticework, to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals that were on top of the pillars.

14He made the stands, and he made the basins on the stands.

15the one Sea, and the twelve oxen under it.

16And Huram-abi made the pots, the shovels, the forks, and all their utensils for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh, of polished bronze.

17In the plain of the Jordan the king cast them in the clay ground, between Sukkoth and Zeredah.

18Solomon made all these vessels in very great abundance, for the weight of the bronze could not be determined.

19And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God: the golden altar, the tables, and on them the bread of the Presence.

20the lampstands and their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold;

21the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs of gold—pure gold.

22the snuffers, the basins, the bowls, and the firepans of pure gold; and the entrance of the house, its inner doors for the Most Holy Place, and the doors of the house for the nave, were of gold.
