Exodus 27

1You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.

2And you shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze.

3You shall make its pots for removing its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its forks, and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze.

4You shall make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the network you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.

5And you shall put it under the ledge of the altar from below, and the net shall extend to halfway up the altar.

6You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with bronze.

7Its poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.

8You shall make it hollow, with boards; as it was shown to you on the mountain, so shall they make it.

9And you shall make the court of the tabernacle. For the south side, southward, there shall be hangings for the court of finely twisted linen, a hundred cubits long for one side.

10with its twenty pillars and their twenty bronze bases, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be silver.

11And likewise for the north side in length: hangings a hundred cubits long, its twenty pillars and their twenty bronze bases, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be silver.

12And for the width of the court on the west side, there shall be hangings of fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases.

13And the width of the court on the east side, toward the sunrise, shall be fifty cubits.

14Fifteen cubits of hangings for the shoulder, with their three pillars and their three bases.

15And for the second side there shall be fifteen cubits of hangings, with three pillars and their three bases.

16And for the gate of the courtyard there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine twined linen, the work of an embroiderer, with their four pillars and their four bases.

17All the pillars around the courtyard shall be banded with silver, with their hooks of silver and their bases of bronze.

18The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, and the width fifty cubits, and the height five cubits, of finely twisted linen, with their bases of bronze.

19All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the courtyard, shall be bronze.

20And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

21In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange it before Yahweh from evening until morning. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout their generations from the Israelites.
