Psalms 26
David Prays for Redemption
Open in the reader →Of David.
Vindicate me, O Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in Yahweh; I will not slip.
Examine me, O Yahweh, and test me; refine my kidneys and my heart.
For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I have walked in your truth.
I have not sat with men of falsehood, and I do not associate with those who conceal themselves.
I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence, and go around your altar, O Yahweh,
to proclaim with a voice of thanksgiving, and to recount all your wondrous deeds.
O Yahweh, I love the house where you dwell, the place where your glory resides.
Do not take me away with sinners, nor take my life with violent men.
in whose hands is wickedness, and whose right hand is full of bribes.
But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be gracious to me.
My foot stands on level ground; in the assemblies I will bless Yahweh.
